Ship sales and finance

The firm has considerable experience in acting for the buyers and sellers of new, second-hand and scrap vessels.

We advise regularly on the drafting and documentary side of vessel sales and purchases. In addition we can advise on issues relating to ship mortgages, loan agreements and other finance issues.

Inevitably, some sale and purchase contracts give rise to disputes. We regularly act for buyers and sellers and their underwriters in such disputes. Our focus, as in other areas of our practice is to provide a swift and cost effective service, designed to bring about our clients' commercial goals as quickly as possible.
