Advising on contracts for the carriage of goods is one of the firm's core areas of expertise. We have advised on all the major charterparty forms including demise, time and voyage charterparties, pool and slot agreements, contracts of affreightment and joint venture agreements. Our clients include some of the world's largest owners and charterers but we also act regularly for smaller shipping companies and P&I and other insurers.

We pride ourselves in giving swift pro-active advice. Early identification of problems and the clients' commercial objectives can often enable us to give our clients advice aimed at resolving or avoiding disputes at an early, cost-effective stage.
