William joined Bentleys in 1987 after over 10 years experience with another maritime law firm in London. He was made a partner in 1988.

William advises regularly on a wide range of matters. On the non-contentious side he advises owners and other interests on such matters as the purchase of new and second-hand vessels, construction issues, finance and FFA and ISDA contracts.

He also has a wide ranging litigation practice including advising clients on resolving disputes arising out of wet and dry charterparties, MOAs, shipbuilding contracts, insurance issues and sale of goods disputes.

William has been a supporting member of the LMAA for some years, has spoken and published articles on a range of subjects and is recommended in the lastest Legal 500.
