Sarah read Politics and European Studies at Exeter University which involved a year at university in Barcelona. She then studied law at the College of Law Guildford. On completing her legal studies, Sarah trained with another London shipping law practice and qualified as a solicitor in August 2003. On qualification she joined Steamship Mutual P&I Club where she worked as a claims executive for two years dealing with primarily FD & D disputes before joining Bentleys in October 2005.

Sarah is accustomed to handling a broad range of shipping matters including charterparty and bill of lading disputes. She is a qualified Yacht Master, which assists her when working on matters requiring a knowledge of navigation. As an experienced sailor she has also handled a number of disputes relating to yachts. Sarah speaks fluent Spanish.

In her free time Sarah enjoys competitive sailing, skiing and mountain biking.
