Carlo qualified as a solicitor in 1997. After practising at a niche London shipping firm he spent 3 years at another leading London shipping firm. Carlo joined Bentleys in September 2006 after gaining further valuable experience working in the defence team with Skuld in Oslo.

He has wide ranging experience of international trade, marine insurance, general shipping (predominantly charterparty and bill of lading disputes) and particularly P&I Club work.

Carlo is a bilingual Italian speaker. His Italian roots means that he has an in bred passion for football and food and as a result his spare time is spent playing for and coaching a London Italian community football team and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
