Andrew read law at Exeter University. He joined Bentleys in January 2009 after training with another City of London firm and working for a firm of solicitors in Sydney, Australia.

Andrew's contentious practice covers disputes arising under time/voyage charterparties and bills of lading, ship conversion and ship building contracts, as well as issues arising from ship and yacht sale and purchase.

In terms of non-contentious work, Andrew has assisted on a number of ship and other asset-based financings, including secured term loan facilities and revolving credit facilities (on a syndicated and bilateral basis) for both newbuildings and second hand vessels. Andrew has experience of ship and yacht sale and purchase transactions and has acted for both banks and borrowers.

In his spare time, Andrew enjoys sailing and all things culinary.
