Wole Olufunwa joined Bentleys, Stokes and Lowless in September 2006. He graduated in Classics at University College London before completing the Common Professional Examination and the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School. After doing so, he returned to University College London to complete a LLM in Maritime Law, specializing in the subjects of Marine Insurance, Carriage of Goods by Sea, Admiralty Law and International Environmental Law.

By assisting with the wide range of maritime and insurance cases handled in the firm Wole is now gaining practical experience to build on his academic knowledge in these matters.

Wole is a keen rugby player, who currently represents London Nigerian RFC. Before this, he had represented the UCS Old Boys, Middlesex County U20 and the Harlequins U21. Wole is also a dedicated Arsenal fan.
