Sarah studied law at the College of Law Guildford, having previously read Politics and Spanish at Exeter University. On completing her legal studies, she trained with another London shipping law practice and qualified as a solicitor in August 2003. On qualification she joined Steamship Mutual P&I Club where she worked as a claims executive for two years dealing with primarily FD & D disputes before joining Bentleys in October 2005. Sarah is accustomed to handling a broad range of shipping matters including charterparty and bill of lading disputes. Sarah is also a qualified Yacht Master, which assists her when working on disputes requiring a knowledge of navigation, such as, for instance, unsafe port disputes. As an experienced sailor she has also handled a number of disputes relating to yachts. Sarah also speaks fluent Spanish having lived and studied in Spain. In her free time Sarah enjoys competitive sailboat racing and skiing. |
