Rebecca joined the firm in September 2005, having graduated with an honours degree in Law from Southampton University. She is developing her knowledge through assisting on cases and researching a broad spectrum of areas; encompassing both wet and dry shipping.

Before joining Bentleys, Rebecca worked as a Ship's Deck Officer, having served onboard Military Strategic Support Vessels and Merchant Vessels; including general cargo, product tankers and both ro-ro and hi-speed passenger ferries, over a period of 8 years, from the rank of Cadet to Chief Officer. Subsequent to that, she worked as a Cargo Surveyor in the field of petroleum products.

Rebecca is a keen runner, competing in middle distance races, she plays tennis and skis to a good standard having followed these sports from an early age. She is a reasonably versatile musician, enjoys most watersports and is a qualified Yachtmaster.
