Nina studied law at University College London. She joined Richards Butler as a trainee, qualifying as a solicitor in January 2000. She was an Assistant Solicitor in Richards Butler's Dry Shipping Department until July 2002 when she left Richards Butler to embark on her qualification as a German solicitor (Rechtsanwalt) which she obtained in early 2003. Nina is registered as a solicitor with the Frankfurt courts. She commenced her PhD in oil pollution and recklessness at the University of Hamburg and joined Bentleys in August 2006. Nina's professional experience encompasses war risks, marine and general insurance, cargo claims, GAFTA arbitrations and charter party disputes. Nina has handled mediations, arbitrations and litigation in both the County Court and the High Court. She has published a lecture given in Germany on limitation of liability and will be publishing her PhD in the near future. |
