Nick Jones joined Bentleys, Stokes and Lowless in 1999 having worked for the previous 18 years with one of the larger specialist marine law firms in the city where his primary responsibilities involved working with both the Commercial Shipping and Reinsurance departments. Prior to that Nick had worked for two other leading firms in London which specialised in Construction, Private Client and Company Commercial Law. As a result Nick has dealt with the negotiation and assessment (formerly Taxation) of legal costs from both a paying and receiving view point in many of the divisions of the High Court, various County Courts and Commercial Arbitrations.
