Joe Quain is a solicitor/Master Mariner with 20 years experience at sea in all ranks from Cadet to Master. He served on a variety of vessel types including general, reefer and bulk cargo vessels trading world-wide and offshore support vessels including anchor-handling tugs, supply vessels and both mono-hull and semi-submersible, dynamically positioned (DP) multi-role support vessels. Offshore work included dive support, offshore construction, cable laying and drilling. In the summer of 1992 he graduated from the University of Leeds with an Honours degree in Law before passing The Law Society finals examination and training as a solicitor with Bentleys Stokes and Lowless. He was admitted in 1995 and became a partner in January 1997. Joe is a member of The Lloyds Salvage Group. He has experience in all aspects of Admiralty litigation including:-
