Duncan joined the firm in September 2008. He graduated with a 2:1 in French and European cinema from Exeter University before completing a conversion course in law at Oxford Brookes in 2007. In July 2008 he passed the legal practice course with a distinction from Oxford Institute of law.

Having gained experience on various placements at a number of leading city law firms and spent time with a P&I Club in London he was delighted to pursue his interest in shipping by choosing to train with Bentleys.

He is fluent in French and has spent time working in a French winery indulging his passion for the culture there.

Duncan is also an extremely keen skier and a budding triathlon enthusiast.
